Dubai Trip

This past Saturday, Sara and I went to Dubai to check out Atlantis resort located on the Palm Jumeriah and the Burj Dubai (tallest building in the world). The Burj is not open yet, but should be in about 5 months. Sara's co-workers Kasia and Jorge went with us.

Abu Dhabi Yacht Show

Sara and I received 2 tickets for the Abu Dhabi Yacht Show that was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center. There were some very cool yachts. The biggest one is called the Dubawi. It's more a cruise liner than a Yacht! We got to go inside about 4 Yachts, but were not allowed to take pictures. We felt like part of the rich and famous. One yacht we went inside had amazing finishes, but not what we wouold choose. Goes to show money doesn't always equal good taste (because we have good taste of course)!

Al Ain Day Trip

On Saturday, March 7, 2009, we took a day Trip to Al Ain with Jim & Marie. We visited a park with a large fountain, then drove up to the top of the mountain for views of Al Ain. In the picture from the top of the mountain, you can see the fountain (barely). We then took a trip into Town Centre and had an excellent Iranian lunch and finished our day at the Al Ain Palace Museum and Al Ain Oasis.
